ABOUT US
For 26 years, has been devoted to our goal of being the best early childhood resource for parents and teachers. We began publishing a monthly newsletter filled with activities, games, songs, and much more in 1977. For years, you could find copies of the BUILDING BLOCKS Newsletter on library shelves, teacher’s tables, and in family homes. In June 2003, we published our last issue so we could spend more time offering resources on our website.

WE ARE A WEB-BASED COMPANY
One of the first things we did when we stopped publishing our monthly mail-order newsletter was to offer a free online newsletter. We continue our mission as an ongoing resource to the early childhood community.

was born in July, 2003. This free online resource continues to offer some of the most popular features from BUILDING BLOCKS Newsletter. One example is the monthly Family Activity Calendar. Because we are now web-based, we can offer this free, reproducible Family Calendar in both Spanish and English and full color.
WE PUBLISH “USER-FRIENDLY” ACTIVITY BOOKS
In addition to our online activities and ideas, BUILDING BLOCKS publishes some of the best activity books for adults who work and play with young children. The BUILDING BLOCKS Website describes all the titles which are currently available.

All of these books are filled with proven learning activities for the classroom. Charming patterns and illustrations make them easy and fun to use.

Several books are also very appropriate for your home-school connection. A good example of this is the ON TRACK TO KINDERGARTEN and ON TRACK TO FIRST GRADE Series available in Spanish and English.

WE CONSULT
For 27 years we have presented national, regional, and local workshops on a wide variety of curriculum topics. One of the most frequently asked for is PARACHUTE PLAY. In the last several years we have begun to offer a workshop entitled “Individualizing Your Program.”
